The silent uninstallation of Web Map Context (WMC) Client for ArcGIS for Desktop does not complete silently. A pop-up window opens, which must be answered.

The WMC client was not designed to support silent install/uninstall. We have not planned further work on the WMC client because OGC has released a new specification for the OGC Context document that replaces the Web Map Context specification supported in the WMC client. We are evaluating the need for providing an add-in to ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro) for reading/writing OGC Context documents and would be open to hearing specific use cases.
