Bogue
The shape of point feature symbols at a size of 1.5 units or less is distorted to an oval shape rather than circular in a Portable Document Format (PDF) that has been exported from an MXD at a resolution of 300 dpi in ArcMap.

-Exporting the MXD to Portable Document Format (PDF) at a resolution of 150 dpi or 600 dpi does not show the problem.- Issue does not take place in ArcGIS Pro.
