There are two work arounds for this issue:1. create a new field as Text field type. Copy all the values from the Date field to the new field. You can get the result from the queryattribute task.2. In the configuration task box, when you configure the task in the Manager, Type in the default value as (date'1983- 03-14' ) instead of (1988-03-14). It will return results. See configureTask5.JPGThere is one more work around. You can test this shapefile C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\DeveloperKit\SamplesNET\data\Y2000HurricaneData\2000_hrcn.shp. You need to define the date field value as the field "TA_DATE", not like "DAY". It will return results if you define one query entry.One user found that creating Text fields and using the format yyyy-mm-dd would allow you to query with operators like <= and >= for the dates. You can also query a range of dates by defining a start and end date with the <= and >= operators.
