The Map Notes symbology is not displayed correctly in the legend of the Map Viewer. The legend should only display the symbology styles added to the map.

Solution de contournement

1. Create a Map Notes.
2. Select the default Stickpin, change the symbology and click Close.
3. Save the Map Notes as a layer.
4. Go to the Content page and select the feature layer and select Publish.
5. Open the feature layer (hosted) in a new map viewer.
6. Observe 4 layers since the layer saved from a Map Notes is a feature collection.
   1. Displays Text, Points, Lines and Area layers.
7. Click the point layer and select Change style option.
8. Choose an attribute to show by selecting Show location only.
   1. Select a drawing style option (Location options > Symbols > Shape > Ok > Ok > Done.
9. The symbols display correctly in the legend.
