The Group Filter widget in the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app fails to display the selected feature if the layer has been disabled for display in the app.

This is changed following a previous customer request and is now the new behavior: the Group Filter will not alter the state of the layer's visibility and will only filter the records in the layer. Layer visibility is handled manually in the Layer List widget or using Bookmarks.
