I was unable to reproduce this issue on ArcGIS Pro 3.6.

In the Contents pane, navigate to the feature class with the Global ID field and click Data, and Export Features.
On the Export Features pane, for Input Features select the feature which has the Global ID, and specify the Output Feature Class.
Expand the Fields section and remove Global ID in the Output Fields.
Click OK.
Run the Generate Grid From Area tool on the exported polygon.
