The classic Esri Story Map templates (such as Series and Shortlist) are in extended support. This bug has a low impact and there is a workaround, so it is not something in the plan to be addressed in an ArcGIS Enterprise patch. Solution de contournement

The user is able to manually disable the 'Share Link' icon by conducting the following workflow:

On the machine where Portal for ArcGIS is installed, open File Explorer.
Navigate to (default) C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\apps\{StoryMapTemplate}\app\config.js.
Open config.js in a Notepad++ or Notepad.
In lines 21-22, change "true" to "false".
Save and close the config.js file.

Note: This workaround is an unsupported workflow and makes a support case out of scope if a user submits a case against this issue in the future. It also applies to all current and future ArcGIS StoryMaps templates selected for this workaround, therefore a user may not pick and choose which ArcGIS StoryMaps to share or not.
