The error code 500 about being unable to view certificate is encountered at the Portal Administrator Directory endpoint when navigating to a certificate with a special character in it.

This issue is a fringe scenario caused by the use of illegal characters in the subject alternative name (SAN) field.

Solution de contournement

Generate a domain certificate without any special characters in the subject alternative name field.
