The Esri function to convert MGRS coordinates is built to provide correct longitude and latitude conversion if the number and letter combination of any MGRS string can be logically determined. It is purposely built to accept MGRS strings that may not be valid according to strict conventions and other software libraries and produce a correct (longitude, latitude) answer even if the number or letter combination in the MGRS string is not exactly a perfect, in-zone-boundary expression. This has been a requirement for messy MGRS data input to be converted to valid coordinates during processing.Étapes pour reproduire
