Bogue

The Auto Adjust option is automatically cleared as soon as a control point is added while georeferencing a CAD. After adding two control points and selecting Auto Adjust, the control links from the link table disappear.

The behavior as described above is how CAD data is georeferenced. Auto Adjust is turned off for links so to not move it until both links are entered. CAD only works with two links; never more than that.
