Informations supplémentaires
Access to Python Help is readily accessibly by clicking the ? in the upper right corner of the Python window and as described here: http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/arcpy/get-started/python-window.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_1467785C39F640D5AA3F537989B7022B access to function help is also readily accessible from within the Python window.
Solution de contournement
In ArcGIS Pro the user can type: help("<insert arcpy function") and the user will receive the documentation, but can be difficult when writing a script and having to scroll back, up and down to see the documentation. In ArcMap, the information window automatically fills when typing a function and displays on the side. The user can also find the geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS ProFor example:
- Go to Toolboxes in the Geoprocessing pane.
- Open Analysis Tools > Extract > Clip.
- Notice users can hover over each input but the description does not match the documentation.
These workflows can offer assistance when understanding arcpy's functions but the information window in the Python pane in ArcMap provides more information than in ArcGIS Pro.
