Source Layer under the 'Select By Location' tool does not retain next time, if a feature is selected from a layer and the same layer is taken as target and source layer initially.

Informations supplémentaires

A selection is required in order to use the same layer as the source and the target. When clearing the selection the identical layer previously used within the Source Layer will be removed causing the drop down to return to the top most listing. Only after making a new selection will the desired identical Source Layer listing be available for use.
