The use case is a stop gap for rapid display of raster images on a map. KmlGroundOverlay is a better solution, and once implemented, 2D ImageOverlay is the ideal solution: ENH-000134745 Support for the ImageOverlay class inside a 2D MapView.Solution de contournement
Use KMLGroundOverlay to display an image for the given bounding box instead of resizing PictureMarkerSymbol with a center point.
