Bogue
Overwriting an ArcGIS Online feature layer from ArcGIS Pro replaces metadata information such as description and credits of sublayers even though the option, 'Use the item description from the web layer' is enabled.

Solution de contournement
Specify the metadata information in ArcGIS Pro. When overwriting the feature layer in ArcGIS Online the settings from ArcGIS Pro are repopulated.
