Informations supplémentaires
The user is mixing up projection and Projected Coordinate System (PCS) objects. A projection or map projection object is the name of the algorithm that is used to flatten the earth model into a flat plane. All 43xxx Well-Known IDs (WKID) are map projections. A projected coordinate system uses a wider range of Well-Known ID (WKID) numbers but does not use the 43xxx range. The ranges or 53xxx and 54xxx are projected coordinate systems that sometimes include the projection name in the PCS name. In the projected_coordinate_systems.pdf file, Table 2 lists all projected coordinate systems while Table 3 lists all projection algorithms.
Solution de contournement
For Lambert azimuthal equal area-based Projected Coordinate System (PCS), create a custom/new projected coordinate system (PCS). There are not many projected coordinate systems that use the Lambert azimuthal equal area projection.
