Un-registering a Portal for ArcGIS web adaptor and registering a new web adaptor with a different context is not a supported workflow. This workflow does not update references to old web adaptor contexts within some user-created content (including Map Note symbol references within Web Map operational layers). We will improve our documentation to provide a better warning for users when attempting to update their web adaptor context.
