Bogue
Line breaks within an .xml document are not honored when updating metadata for an item in ArcGIS Online using ArcGIS API for Python.

Solution de contournement
- From the item details page in ArcGIS Online for the item with the updated description, click Metadata.
- Navigate to the resource details, and edit 'Description(Abstract)'.
- Click OK in the 'Description(Abstract)' window, and save the changes to the metadata.
The items description now contains the appropriate line breaks.
