Layers imported from the Public Gallery that have the ability to be converted to sites are not automatically converted.

Web Map geographies can be added into Business Analyst Web and the associated data can be used in Color-coded maps and Smart Map Search analysis; however, the polygon/geography must be converted to sites after they are added to the map. We are working to improve this work flow so you will be able to create multiple sites at once instead of the current design that only allows creating individual sites from the imported Web Map. The current work-around is to use the Select Geography tool to select and create multiple CBSA sites from within the application. Thank you for this important feedback that helps us improve Business Analyst.
