The default behavior for points without Z values is to set elevation mode to 'relative to ground' which means billboarded. While the default behavior for lines and polygons without Z, is to set elevation mode to "on the ground" which means draped. If the result is not desired, this property can be easily changed by the user: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-layers-FeatureLayer.html#elevationInfoSolution de contournement
