In the weblink of ArcSDE 10 Service Pack 1 http://resources.arcgis.com/content/patches-and-service-packs?fa=viewPatch&PID=66&MetaID=1687 The contents under the ArcSDE Server Installation for Windows (Step 12) are not same as the contents under ArcSDE Server Installation for Unix (Step 7), though they both are applied to Oracle users who have the ArcSDE component and the DBMS installed on separate servers.
