Bogue
In ArcGIS Experience Builder, adding an option in the Search widget action items for the 'Data filtering changes' trigger only acts when a search is entered and not cleared.

The expected behavior while clearing out the search results is the filter is removed from the data source, which means that if the zoom extent does not change, it is a bug. Thus, Step 9 is the expected behavior. However, if all the search content is selected and the new search criteria are typed directly (as a replacement), it does not trigger the clear behavior, which means it does not consequently trigger the zoom until a new item is searched for, and this is another workaround.Solution de contournement
Use the 'Record selection changes' trigger and select the desired location from the search recommendations.
