Bogue
Image services added to ArcMap render incorrectly if the PERCENT_RISE option of the Slope raster function template is applied on the image service.

- In ArcMap, when the image service is opened in the data frame, open the Layer Properties dialog box, and go to the Symbology tab.
- Select the Minimum-Maximum stretch type, and set the custom statistics (Min: 0, Max: 100, Mean: 0, and Standard Deviation: 0). Notice the change in aspect levels.
