Hyperlinks with relative path created using the Identify tool does not work properly when saving into a layer file stored relative path to data source.

Solution de contournement

The best workaround is to save a map document with the layer (containing hyperlinks) in it. Then the .mxd's location will serve as a base path and everything will work fine. Alternately, using field based hyperlinks would work as a solution.
