Informations supplémentaires
Since this issue was submitted to the Content Management team, which is only responsible for the Catalog pane and the Catalog view and browse dialog box in ArcGIS Pro, this particular issue can only be marked As Designed for that portion of the workflow described. A separate issue must be submitted to the Python team to assess how this similar functionality is handled in ArcGIS Notebooks.
In order to search for groups themselves and not the content inside the groups, click the Groups toggle.
It is documented in ArcGIS Online that there are two ways to search the portal using special characters included in an item's name. Refer to the content under the 'Special character searches' heading in this documentation, https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/users-groups-and-items/search-reference.htm. One is to enclose the entire search text in quotation marks, e.g.: "[B]". When doing this in ArcGIS Pro and searching for groups, it successfully gets the searched group included in the results.
Also, when searching either Groups or ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise results are sorted by Relevance by default, which is unlikely to show the group at the top of the list. Change the sort to 'Creation date' and the group shows up at the top of the list if created.
