Bogue
Georeferencing using spline and projective transformation in ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 displays an incorrect location when Update Georeferencing is selected.

After doing the Update Georeferencing and the shift occurs, remove the image from the Table of Contents (TOC). Then, delete the .tfwx, .aux and .ovr files and redo the Control Points. The georeferencing is then saved correctly to the image.
