Bogue
Editor tracking in ArcGIS Online captures username of the user who enabled editor tracking on a layer, even after the layer ownership is changed and editor tracking is disabled.

Enable editor tracking from the Item setting tab.
Note: To modify past editor tracking records, use ArcGIS Pro to disable editor tracking, making the necessary changes, then use the Enable Editor Tracking geoprocessing tool to re-enable.
