Downloading offline areas fail in ArcGIS Field Maps with error message of "Error downloading map: Error Domain=com.esri.arcgis.runtime.services.error Code=403 "Request Forbidden" UserInfo={NSURL=https://fqdn/server/rest/directories/arcgisjobs/system/synctools_gpserver..." when member has the Data Editor role.

Solution de contournement

 There are several options:

1. Assign the member a Publisher role or higher privileged role.

a) In this case, the Mobile Worker User Type would no longer be compatible. The Publisher Role requires a Creator User Type.

2. Turn off Virtual directories security enabled.

a) Go to the server admin endpoint > security > config > update > Uncheck the box for Virtual directories security enabled.

b) Note that we do not provide recommendations and this choice is up to your security team.
