Custom geographic transformations created in ArcMap are not listed under the Geographic Transformation parameter's drop-down list when using a Windows account name that contains umlaut/accented characters.

Solution de contournement

Copy the .gtf file to the CustomTransformation folder of another account profile, whose name does not contain any umlaut/accented characters.
