Clicking Save As on an ArcGIS Pro project located in a network drive folder to a different root folder on the network drive results in additional folders being created in the original project's root folder.

Solution de contournement

1. Copy the project files and folders to a different folder without using ArcGIS Pro. For example, use Windows File Explorer.

2. Work within the same root folder of the network drive.

3. Set ArcGIS Pro 3.6 or later to prompt when a project's default items need to be repaired. When prompted, select an appropriate home folder for the new project, select the existing default geodatabase stored in the project's original location, and select the existing default toolbox stored in the project's original location available at https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/projects/open-a-project.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_4A3B7F1B40D3414191CA5815BF30300F.
