Bogue

Cells copied from an Excel file into an ArcMap layout bleed and appear incorrectly when the data is exported to an Enhanced Metafile (EMF). The problem is also replicated when exporting to a PDF.

This is a known limitation of ArcMap's GDI-based export engine. The issue is resolved in ArcGIS Pro (you can copy/paste excel spreadsheet cells into Pro layouts and they will retain formatting when exported)
