Building cache on group layers fails when a globe service is created using an ArcGlobe document (*.3dd) and accessed through ArcCatalog.

Solution de contournement

A possible workaround could be to copy the cache that was generated from within the ArcGlobe document into the cache folder for the server. As long as the service was created using that globe document it will work.
