This is a known limitation, and planned to be corrected in the next update of ArcGIS Explorer Desktop.Solution de contournement
Two available workarounds: - Navigate to the Map button > Basemaps option > Manage Basemaps > the Browse button to connect to the following: C Drive > Program Files > Explorer (86) > Basemaps > Server.
