After much investigation - the core issue in these defects in export has to do with calls we make to Microsoft GDI, and the metrics and parameters we get back from these methods. When GDI returns incorrect/invalid values, we get incorrect results written to our PDFs that result in these issues. As we don’t have source for the GDI system itself, Esri cannot resolve these incorrect metrics ourselves in the ArcMap pipeline. The recommended workaround is to use ArcGIS Pro to produce these PDFs - ArcGIS Pro does not rely on GDI and therefore handles Arabic text more appropriately.Étapes pour reproduire
