Informations supplémentaires
Since this problem was initially reported, the ArcGISIndexingServer.exe executable has been updated so that when it crashes we get reports of each crash. This means each crash that occurs is already being assessed and responded to individually. This is how we need to progress to identify the causes of individual problems as they occur, not with a general issue that addresses all possibilities, many of which have already been addressed. Please make sure crash dumps are submitted to Esri when they occur.
Solution de contournement
The two known workarounds at the moment are to disable the task within the task scheduler, or to remove the Microsoft security update (ID: KB4056894).The task may not appear on the task scheduler until ArcGIS Pro is opened and the index is deleted. Once this is done, follow the steps below:
- Close ArcGIS Pro.
- Go to Start Menu. Search for Task Scheduler. Open the Task Scheduler.
- On the left-hand pane in Task Scheduler, click Task Scheduler (Local), and click the Task Scheduler library.
- In the list of scheduled tasks, locate the task with the name 'ArcGIS Pro Indexing (Your_Username).'
- Right-click on the task and disable the task.
- Close Task Scheduler and reboot the machine.
