ArcGIS Insights returns the "Something went wrong" error message when the layer is published from ArcGIS Pro 2.6.1 or higher.

Use one of the following options to resolve this issue.

Option 1:

1. Add the layer to the Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer.
2. From the layer menu, click Configure Pop-up. Change the settings.
3. Click OK.
4. From the layer menu, click Save Layer.
5. Revert the changes and save the layer again if needed.

Option 2:

1. Access the following link, https://<DOMAIN-NAME>/portal/sharing/rest/content/users/<USERNAME>/items/<ITEMID>/update.
2. Log in.
3. Under the 'text' parameter, add the following JSON:
