ArcGIS Enterprise feature services do not enforce non-nullable text fields at the REST endpoint when published from ArcGIS Pro, allowing features to be created with empty values.

Use the ArcGIS Field Maps form builder in the ArcGIS Enterprise portal to configure required fields at the form level. This workaround only enforces validation in Esri client applications and does not address REST-based or third-party integrations.
