This is a limitation of applications compiled for the x86 architecture and the issue is addressed through the development cycle of ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET. For applications requiring 32-bit support, use the option 'Any CPU' and 'Prefer 32-bit', or alternatively set the LargeAddressAware flag, and re-test all the application functionality.
