A map service from ArcGIS Server published with the Cartographic line symbol type having butted line caps and miter line joins changes to rounded end caps and joins in an ArcGIS Online web map when changing the color or pattern in the web map.

Solution de contournement

If butted line caps and miter joins for the cartographic line symbols are desired, consider publishing a feature service instead.Cartographic line symbols in a feature service always default to butted line caps and miter line joins when displayed in a web map. This is by design.
