Informations supplémentaires
ArcGIS Pro is set to automatically index items that are added to the project. This is done using Lucene. Multiple indexes are created. Items that may be connected to many projects such as databases and folders are indexed in the user profile directory at \AppData\Local\ESRI\Index. Items stored within a project such as maps, layouts, tasks, etc. are also indexed in an Index folder that is located within the project's home folder. It is not intended for users to be able to browse the contents of Lucene indexes in ArcGIS Pro. ArcInfo Workstation coverages are also not supported for use in ArcGIS Pro. As such we do not intend to start showing folders that contain a segments.gen file.
The secondary problem mentioned was that for some reason, index files were being created in the project's Home folder. We found several occurrences of this problem in-house, corrected the problem, and since that time the problem has not reappeared in any new projects that have been created. The problem is fixed in Pro 2.0.
For the cases where Lucene index files were incorrectly created, using previous versions of ArcGIS Pro software, in a location that is not under an "Index" folder, the Lucene files can be safely deleted unless they are part of an ArcInfo Worktation file structure. Once the Lucene index files have been deleted, the folder and its contents will correctly appear in ArcGIS Pro.
