Descripción

Esri® announces the Portal for ArcGIS 10.2.1 Membership Count and Server Federation Patch. This patch addresses two issues: one in the display of the Membership Count table in the Portal home application; the other issue occurs when reading the SSL certificate while federating Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS for Server. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • NIM099073 - When Portal for ArcGIS is authorized with a perpetual license, the Membership Count table on the 'My Organization' page of the Portal home application does not display.

Description: When using a license that does not expire (perpetual), the Membership Count for Maximum Registered Members Allowed and Currently Registered Members on the My Organization page was not properly displayed. The Total Membership feature in the home application is intended to be available to Administrator accounts of the Portal to help guide decisions about licensing. While the actual authorization is working as expected, this bug prevented dialog boxes and information about Total Membership from being displayed in the Portal for ArcGIS home application.

  • NIM099276 - When Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS for Server are federated, validating the SSL certificate should also use the domain name specified in the certificate's Subject Alternative Names.

Description: If you are experiencing errors with your certificate when federating Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS for Server, this fix may be necessary. When validating the SSL certificate, the domain name, as specified in the certificate’s Subject Alternative Name, should be used.
