GPT 3.1 Synchronizer Patch

This patch fixes a synchronization bug in GPT 3.1, in which the synchronizer was leaving the resource_type column of the ASearchXMLDoc table blank. Without this patch, all documents published through ArcCatalog were identified in the Portal as having a default content type of "Offline Data". We recommend GPT 3.1 users to download and install this patch at their earliest convenience.

This patch fixes a synchronization bug in GPT 3.1, where the synchronizer - a script responsible for synching documents published through ArcCatalog, with the main GPT table ASearchXMLDoc, was leaving the resource_type field of ASearchXMLDoc blank. Resource_type is the column that stores the "content type" for documents. Because of the blank value, all documents published through ArcCatalog were identified in the Portal as having a default content type of "Offline Data", even if the original metadata contained correct information for classifying the document as another content type. We recommend GPT 3.1 users to download and install this patch at their earliest convenience.

Please note that there are 2 separate files for this patch - one for users running Java 1.4 and the other for users running Java 1.5. Please make sure to download the file appropriate for the system on which your Tomcat is running.
