ArcGIS Server Geoportal extension CSW Clients 9.3.1 sp1 patch for ArcGIS Explorer 900 and up

This patch provides the ability to install and use the CSW Clients for ArcGIS Explorer without having ArcMap installed on the same machine. Uninstall existing CSW Clients, then unzip the downloaded zip file, and run the CSW Clients for ArcGIS Build 9.3.1.520.msi file to install.

The Geoportal extension CSW Clients version 9.3.1 service pack 1 was designed to allow users to search CSW catalogs from ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Explorer. However, when the CSW Clients are installed on a machine that does not have ArcMap installed, the CSW Clients for ArcGIS Explorer do not work. There was a dependency on having ArcMap installed.

This patch allows users to install and use the CSW Clients in an environment where ArcGIS Explorer (build 900 and up) is installed only. Users who have ArcMap installed do not need to apply this patch unless they plan on installing the CSW Clients in an environment where ArcMap is not present. This patch addresses NIMBUS 055629.

Instructions: Uninstall existing CSW Clients. Then unzip the downloaded zip file, and run the CSW Clients for ArcGIS Build 9.3.1.520.msi file to install.
