ArcGIS Schematics 9.1 Patch
Resumen
Descripción
This patch is now obsolete. It has been superceded by ArcGIS Schematics 9.1 Patch 2.
Introduction
ESRI® announces the ArcGIS Schematics 9.1 Patch. This patch solves a variety of issues with the ArcGIS Schematics extension. Many of these issues revolve around how Schematics works with SDE and versioned data. Also included are fixes for problems when importing symbology into Schematics and fixes for some memory leaks. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.
We recommend that all users download and install this patch at their earliest convenience.
Issues Addressed with this Patch
NIM004919 - After editing the spatial reference for a Schematic Diagram, the user should not get an error message when adding the diagram onto regular map layers containing the same spatial reference.
NIM004921 - When saving a Schematic Diagram in a map document and then reopening the map document, the diagram is not refreshing correctly.
NIM004922 - Applying an algorithm that causes the diagram extent to exceed the current ArcMap extent can cause the diagram to freeze up.
NIM004923 - Unable to propagate the selection to and from a diagram when the diagram type is a custom query builder.
NIM004931 - ArcMap can crash after doing a lot of modifications to a Schematic Diagram without saving.
NIM004932 - When a SQL Server SDE connection is created in ArcCatalog without specifying the database name, the user is unable to generate diagrams with Schematics.
NIM004925 - The Schematics Designer application crashes when a feature layer using categories containing special characters (#, "" etc..) is imported.
NIM004924 - Propagating the Schematic selection to the map does not work if the attributes are inherited from a parent element type.
NIM004929 - Memory leak
NIM004933 - Can't create a SQL Server SDE Schematic Dataset when the SDE connection name is not the same as the SQL Server user name.
NIM004934 - Users that do not have permissions to Schematic Datasets should not see them listed in ArcCatalog.
NIM004930 - ArcMap can crash after doing a lot of modifications to a Schematic Diagram without saving.
NIM004935 - Importing a layer that is symbolized on a unique value many fields is not displayed correctly in the TOC for a Schematic Diagram.
NIM004936 - Unable to generate a Schematic Diagram when a layer using multiple category groups for symbology is imported.
NIM004937 - Symbology is not correct when the filters are inherited from a parent element type.
NIM004938 - Memory Leaks
NIM004939 - Relationships where both nodes are not on the diagram can cause default nodes and should be avoided.
NIM004940 - The display of symbols is not correct when there is a "/" in the name of the subtype.
NIM004941 - Unable to generate a diagram from versioned features in Oracle.
NIM004926 - During migration from 2.3 to 9.1, if a schematic dataset file is too large, it can not be opened with the Schematic Designer application.
NIM004942 - Unable to import a layer based on a multi-point geometry
NIM004943 - When using SDE, table names need to be fully qualified in the Schematic Designer application.
NIM004944 - Relationship rule is causing an error message if the Diagram Type is not associated to any Link Element Types.
NIM004945 - Importing a Schematic Dataset into another Schematic Dataset is not copying data sources that are currently invalid.
NIM004946 - Relationship Rules are not working on SDE data when there is more than 1 data source.
NIM004947 - Pattern Model arrows may change direction after executing an algorithm.
NIM004948 - Pattern Model arrows may change direction after clicking the Undo button.
NIM004949 - Propagate commands are not working on SDE.
NIM004950 - Relationship rules are not working correctly with versioned data.
NIM004959 - The Schematic Designer application crashes when a parameter is edited out of a query string.
NIM004951 - Attributes coming from feature classes may not work correctly if the column order of the fields is changed.
NIM004927 - Some True Type Font symbols are not correctly displayed in Schematics
NIM004952 - Need to be able to create relationships based on attributes.
NIM004953 - Containers that only contain link element types are not refreshed after moving the links end nodes.
NIM004928 - Some True Type Font symbols are not correctly displayed in Schematics
NIM004954 - Containers are not correctly repositioned after moving the contained elements and then clicking Undo.
NIM004955 - The reverse relationship checkbox on the Relationship Rule form does not do anything when relating a node to a link.
NIM004960 - All data sources defined for a Schematic Dataset are being opened when a Schematic Diagram is opened.

How to identify which Patch is installed
To check for the presence of a Patch, for each file examine the unique identification information provided (right click, properties, version tab, item name, QFE Version). With only a few exceptions, all files modified as part of a Patch distribution can be uniquely identified in this manner. The identification string for this Patch should read:
QFE-DT-91-CQ00298035
