ArcGIS Business Analyst 9.1 SIC and NAICS Code Descriptions

This file contains information for InfoUSA's SIC and NAICS data that come packaged with Business Analyst.

This crosswalk shows the expanded six-digit SIC and eight-digit NAICS codes and includes descriptions. Note that the NAICS descriptions are broader in definition because they reflect the actual industry names taken from the "official" six-digit NAICS hierarchy. So by default, the six-digit SIC descriptions can (and should) be used with the eight-digit NAICS codes.
