ArcGIS 10.2.2 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Update GeoPackage Support for the OGC Standard Version 1
Resumen
Descripción
Esri® announces the ArcGIS 10.2.2 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Update GeoPackage Support for the OGC Standard Version 1.0 Patch. The GeoPackage is a recently adopted OGC standard (OGC 12-128r10). The GeoPackage standard defines an open SQLite container for distribution and direct use of geospatial data, including vector features and tile matrix sets. This patch upgrades ArcGIS Desktop and Server to better support the 1.0 version of the GeoPackage standard. This patch fixes several issues which were found with our implementation, adds several new utilities to allow the validation of a GeoPackage, and improves loading/import performance where it was previously quite slow. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.
Issues Addressed with this patch
- NIM100530 - Update support for GeoPackage 1.0 Final.
Description: When you navigate to a directory that contains GeoPackage (.gpkg) data, ArcCatalog/ArcMap does not display them. This occurs when ArcGIS Desktop 10.2 has previously been installed and catalog used. The subsequent install of 10.2.1 or 10.2.2 will not show .gpkg files because the cache file is outdated. To fix this problem delete the cache files in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Desktop10.2\ArcCatalog.
