ArcGIS 10.2 – 10.2.2 for Desktop Digital Globe GeoEye Metadata/Product Layout Patch
Esri® announces the ArcGIS 10.2 – 10.2.2 for Desktop Digital Globe GeoEye Metadata/Product Layout Patch. This patch addresses issues when working with GeoEye images which are delivered using the updated Digital Globe metadata format (IMD) and product layout. It enables these images to be used in a Mosaic Dataset. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.
Issues Addressed with this patch
- NIM101221 - The GeoEye-1 raster type does not ingest into a mosaic dataset as a result of new metadata standards.
Description: Digital Globe GeoEye-1 images which are delivered using the updated IMD metadata format and product layout cannot be added to a Mosaic Dataset.
Installing this patch on Windows
ArcGIS for Desktop, Engine, or Server must be installed before installing this patch. With ArcGIS 10.2 for Desktop you must also install the ArcGIS 10.2 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Landsat 8 Patch before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file for your environment to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.

- Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click the appropriate setup to start the setup process.
NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-<Version>-<Product>-DGGM-Patch.msp
