Error

When using arcpy.management.ApplySymbologyFromLayer on a derived output in a script tool, there is a delay to the symbology being applied which causes the changes to not appear when the script exports the layout to a PDF file.

Solución alternativa

  • Manually access and export the layout as a PDF after the script has run.
  • Run the script through the Python window instead of as a script tool.
