Error

When running a gp.RasterToASCII_conversion in python and specifying a gp.workspace, the temporary rasters will be written to the workspace specified as gp.workspace and are not deleted.

Solución alternativa

Generally the gp.workspace will be set when a list needs to be generated using the files in the workspace. Setting gp.workspace = r"<a href="file://in_memory" target="_blank">\\in_memory</a>" after the list has been generated from the gp.workspace seems to avoid having the workspace fill up with temporary rasters.
