Error

When manual edit sessions are enabled, running a geoprocessing tool without pending edits turns off the edit session.

This defect is resolved in ArcGIS Pro 3.5. The Edit button and edit session no longer deactivate after running geoprocessing tools. For schema operations (tools that add or delete fields), the operation can be accomplished outside an edit session and the edit session can be re-enabled at the end of the schema operation.
