Error

When joining to a view that is registered with ArcSDE using the SDE command line, the following warning message is returned, "Selections will not be enabled after joining data to this layer."

Registering a view with the sdelayer -o register command is not a supported workflow. The sdelayer command has been deprecated. The supported workflow is to use the Create Database View tool.

Solución alternativa

Create the view using the following SDE command line:sdetable -o create_view
